Frequently Asked Questions About Yoga Nuts

Q: Where do Yoga Nuts come from?

A: Yoga Nuts almonds come from an exclusive almond-growing specialist in Southern California, where the best almonds in the world are grown. Pecans come from premium pecan orchards in Texas where the best U.S. pecans are found. No high quality cashews are grown in America. In order to maintain a constant supply of our special Baby Cashews, we need to source them around the world at different times of year. Geographically our growers range from Brazil to India to Thailand as each country has a different growing season and different harvest time during a calendar year. Baby Cashews are not usually a large portion of the cashew crop, so it may take multiple sources to acquire the pounds we need for Yoga Nuts.

Q: What does E.S. on the Yoga Nuts bag mean?

A: It refers to Essential Seeds that appears above the Yoga Nuts logo. Most nuts are really seeds. And even though nuts have been around for thousands of years, their incredible food and health values are just now becoming widely known. For informed shoppers who are beginning to understand more and more about the extensive vitamins and minerals in nuts, and about their life protecting qualities as well, nuts are more than a snack. We brought these two ideas together with Essential Seeds to emphasize the importance of nuts in a well-rounded diet. And we included E. S. in our logo to get consumers to think differently about Yoga Nuts.
